Coffee glossary
Body
Also known as: Mouthfeel
How heavy or rich a coffee feels in your mouth, from light and tea-like to thick and syrupy.
Body is about texture rather than taste. Oils and fine particles add body, which is why a French press feels heavier than a paper-filtered pour-over made from the same beans.
