Cupheine is a reading site, and we keep data collection to the minimum needed to run it.
What we collect
- No reader accounts and no tracking cookies. You don't need an account to read Cupheine, and we don't set advertising or tracking cookies.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our servers may record basic technical information about each request — such as IP address, browser type and the page requested — to keep the site secure and working. These records are kept only as long as needed for that purpose.
- Your theme choice. If you switch between light and dark mode, the choice is saved in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
Analytics
If we add analytics, we will prefer privacy-friendly, cookie-free tools that report aggregate statistics only, and we will update this page.
Embedded content
Some articles embed videos or other media from third parties, such as YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode. When you play embedded content, the provider may collect data under its own privacy policy.
