Dialing In
Also known as: dial in, dialling in
Adjusting grind size, dose, yield and time until a coffee — usually espresso — tastes its best.
Change one variable at a time and taste after each change. If a shot is sour, grind finer or increase the yield; if it is bitter or harsh, grind coarser or shorten the yield.
