Under-Extraction

Also known as: under-extracted, underextraction

Pulling too little from the grounds, which makes coffee taste sour, thin and sometimes salty.

Common causes are a grind that is too coarse, water that is too cool, or too short a brew. Grinding finer is usually the quickest fix.
