Coffee glossary

Cascara

The dried skins and pulp of the coffee cherry, steeped like tea to make a fruity, lightly caffeinated drink.

Cascara means “husk” in Spanish. It tastes more like dried fruit or hibiscus than coffee and turns a by-product of processing into something delicious.
